Mr. Said is a Professional Engineer who has financed over $800 million in equity and debt transactions in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Said and his team has been involved in various host government negotiations for exploration and development asset acquisitions in Brazil, Colombia, Iraq, Yemen, Syria, Chad, Jamaica, Guyana, Turkey and Nigeria. Mr. Said sits on the boards of several public and private companies.
Paul Bozoki, CFO
Mr. Bozoki is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of accounting, tax and corporate finance experience primarly focusing on emerging markets. He holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s.
Neil Said, Vice President & Corporate Secretary
Mr. Said is a corporate securities lawyer. He previously worked as a securities lawyer at a large Toronto corporate law firm, where he worked on a variety of corporate and commercial transactions. Mr. Said obtained a Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at the University of Toronto and he received a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) with a minor in Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
Shane O’Leary, Advisor
Mr. O’Leary was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of Gran Tierra Energy –a publically listed exploration and production company focused in South America with operations in Colombia, Peru, Brazil and Argentina. Previously Mr. O’Leary was President and CEO of First Calgary PetroleumsLtd. (FCP) leading a large gas development in Algeria until the sale of the company to the Italian major ENI in September 2008. Prior to FCP, Mr. O’Leary served as VP and Business Unit Leader, Brazil for Encana Corporation.
Richard Wadsworth, Advisor
Mr. Wadsworth is an Engineer with over 25 years of expereince. In 2001 he led the Premier Oil Plc joint venture with Albpetrol, OMV and IFC called Anglo Albanian Petroleum (“AAP”) and commenced the initial re-developmentof the Patos Marinza Oilfield in Albania. He is the former President & CEO of Bankers Petroleum which grew reserves to over 150 million barrels and production exceeding 6,000 bopd under his leadership.
